Let’s usher in Fall with adorable crochet pumpkins!  We will begin with a small, simple pumpkin so students can learn the process.  We will then move on to larger, more detailed pumpkins using the Picot Stitch. 

Students should be familiar with basic crochet- how to create a slipknot, chain, single crochet and half double crochet. 

Students should bring several crochet hooks suitable for worsted weight yarn (size H and a few smaller like E, F, G).  The goal is to have tighter stitches for a firm pumpkin.  Hooks and yarn available for purchase. 

Supplies provided:  Patterns, stuffing,  and cinnamon sticks for stems (or feel free to bring small wooden dowels or sticks if you prefer).
