Where is your shop? We are NOT directly on Wall Street, you have to drive in to the back of 56….You will see our sign on the road, and we are on the side directly behind Suburban Travel. We are the driveway next to Moxie restaurant also! Follow the ‘yarn bombed’ snow poles and that will lead you to our door….Plenty of free parking right in front of the shop, but fine to park on Wall Street.
Do you only carry wool? No! We love fiber in all its forms! We have a wonderful selection of cotton, silk, bamboo, and blends of yarn. And loads of dyed roving and loose fiber too. A Wool shop is a British term for a yarn shop, that’s all.
Do you sell gift certificates? Yes! We sell Gift Certificates in any amount, and we are happy to mail them to you! Please call the shop or stop in for details.
Can you ship items to me? Yes we also ship! If you need yarn or anything else, we will get it to you.
I want to buy something I just saw you post online! If you see yarns or other items posted on the Blog or on Facebook that you want to purchase, please contact the shop and we can ship to you. This site is not going to be an e-commerce site, so if you see something you like and want, please call on it! We are also happy to do custom spinning on any fiber in the shop or we can blend a batt together–we love to be creative!
I'm calling during business hours, and no one is answering the phone? If no one answers during regular shop hours, we are usually helping a customer and will return your call as soon as possible!
I'm running late, will you still be in the shop? We are usually here later than posted hours, so if the lights are on, feel free to stop in! Because we are often here late, we aren’t always in right at 11 am - so don’t fret if the shop is still closed, give me 15 minutes and I will be there!
