This class is about letting go of the notion that you need patterns and rules in order to construct a wearable crochet piece. Here we will go over different freeform crochet techniques, such as, ruffles, holes, shaping, and ridges. We will create different swatches of texture that will then be constructed into a wearable piece. This piece could be a neck wrap, a headband, or anything you can think of.  This is a great way to use up all that scrap yarn from other projects. By using a variety of yarns, handspun and/or commercial, you are guaranteed to end up with a showcase of texture and color!

Requirements:

Basic crochet knowledge

Having fun, letting go

Bring to Class:

• A mix of yarns in different colors and textures

• Crochet hooks in multiple sizes (we will have some to share/purchase)

• Scissors

• Tapestry needle
