Introduction to Broom Making:  Woven Handled Whisk & Bent Turkey Wing.  With Paskalini Savopoulos (www.vagabondspun.com). Saturday, September 4, 2021.  10 am- 5 pm.  $125.00.  $25.00 deposit holds your space.  Includes all materials.   

This workshop is an introduction to the basic skills and materials used to construct your very own whisk brooms. We will work through 2 styles and everyone will go home with a basic flat stitched whisk, and a bent turkey wing whisk.  

 No prior experience is needed but moderate upper body strength and manual dexterity are required. If you have sensitive hands some well fitting gardening gloves or fingerless work out type gloves could be helpful.  

We will be working with natural materials that will be soaked prior to use please feel free to bring an apron or towel and wear comfortable clothing you don't mind potentially getting dirty.  

Lunch Break:  Fridge and Microwave available; local restaurants are available for take out.
