Making mittens is a great next step in your knitting journey! If you have wanted to work in the round, this is a fun small project to learn this skill! We will use the Tin Can Knits pattern “The World’s Simplest Mittens” https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/the-worlds-simplest-mittens. This pattern is written for several sizes and different weights of yarn, and is a blank canvas for your creativity.. You will learn to knit in the round using either double pointed needles or one long circular needle, aka ‘the magic loop method’. Students must be able to knit and purl confidently.
