It’s natural dyeing season! Have you been curious about working with natural dyes, or have youbexperimented some and want to learn more?  This class is for you!  Using 8-10 natural dyes and allbnatural wool yarns, we will make a full rainbow of 15 or so colors on cute little mini skeins that youbcan then take home and knit, crochet or weave.

We will go over fiber selection and prep, plus mordanting and proper dye techniques. We will learn howbto make our own dyes from plants, roots, bark and even an insect or two. We will cover a fewnatural dye extracts, and discover how to blend, extend and modify our dyes to create an evenbdeeper range.

All materials are provided, but please bring a plastic bag or container to bring home wet yarns.bDyeing has an element of waiting, so feel free to bring along your knitting!
