Learn the basic folds to create four different styles of origami holiday ornaments. 

Choose from a variety of paint colors to create your own unique papers to work with and I’ll share some fun and easy mark making techniques for brushing, splattering, sponging, and stamping. There will also be plenty of holiday-themed pre-printed papers for you to choose from. Embellish your finished ornaments with crystals, beads, and ribbons.  

These ornaments are not only wonderful for decorating but also make fantastic gifts. Two of the four are flat and perfectly sized to be sent as a surprise gift inside a special note or greeting card. 

No experience necessary.  All materials and tools will be supplied.

Teaching artist Kathy Johnson holds a deep passion for all things paper-related and specializes in collage, mixed media, and eco-printing. She enjoys discovering and trying different models of origami and especially loves creating origami decorations.
