In honor of the abundance of November, here's your chance to learn Proddy! Being at least as old as the rug hooking, proddy is the art of taking shaped pieces of wool and hooking them through the front of your pattern for a 3-dimensional effect. 

This class will include the 'Pilgrim Hat Bouquet' pattern (10 “ x 13”) by Ribbon Candy Hooking, wool strips to complete the background and hat design, and dozens of pre-cut proddy wool leaves and petals in hand-dyed colors, patterns and plaids (in the palette you see here), and snippers. 

Beginners and experienced hookers alike are all welcome. Hoops and hooks (either pear or traditional) will be available at the start of class at the cost of $15 for both -for beginners who need these two starter tools. 

Learn a new craft and make an heirloom at the same time! Proddy is a great skill to add to your hooking or crafting all year round.
