Learn how to turn merino wool into a felted vessel! You will learn how to wet felt a unique one-of-a kind vessel using merino wool, silk fabric and exotic fibers over a resist.  This is a perfect project for total beginners, or felters with some experience.

Wet felting is a full body experience!  You will be hands on and using your upper body quite a bit, so be prepared for a crafty workout! 

You will learn felting skills you can apply to future projects such as making a hat, scarf, or slippers. 

When registering, please let us know what color kit you would like:  1. blues/greens 2.  pinks/purples 3. yellow/orange 4. natural earth brown/golds

Lunch break:  There is a microwave and refrigerator for use, plus several local restaurants for take out. 

What to bring:  wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting wet/soapy, extra towels (1-2 bath size), and scraps of quilting cloth/ cut up dish towels to help form the vessel shape (or you can use the provided balloon for a more organic shape)
